Fulfilling the role of a Downstream Operational Analyst, I found a perfect alignment with my academic background in chemical engineering and doing my best in contributing to the seamless functioning of the refinery and fractionation plant. My accomplishments include the establishment of an integrated star schema database that intricately covers crucial aspects of operational refinery and fractionation. This comprehensive database delves into five key dimensions: raw material/CPO quality, plant process performance, utility/consumable usage, equipment breakdown frequency, on-time delivery product shipment, and production cost.
In addition to database management, I actively sought opportunities to enhance operational efficiency. I meticulously analyzed the potential for clean production applications within the refinery process, aligning each initiative with the Astra ESG program, grounded in detailed fuel and water consumption data.
To ensure transparency and facilitate informed decision-making, I developed and delivered periodical (weekly and monthly) plant performance reports. These reports, presented in both spreadsheet and dynamic visualization formats, provided a holistic overview of the refinery's operational health. It's also encapsulates my dedication to marrying theoretical knowledge with hands-on application, contributing significantly to the operational excellence of the refinery plant.
